According to Entergy Arkansas, a squirrel got into the 8th and Woodrow substation, causing the main breaker to lockout.
This caused an outage in downtown leaving several without power and dozens of traffic lights to not be on.
Entergy did not comment on the status of the squirrel.
Power was restored shortly after 10 a.m.
