White Pig Inn to close after 99 years in North Little Rock

A well known BBQ spot in North Little Rock will be closing down in early March after 99 years.

The White Pig Inn, a well known barbecue restaurant, is closing down in early March after 99 years in business.

Originally opened in 1920, owner Greg Seaton said that although it was not an easy decision he and his wife "decided it was time."

According to its website, White Pig Inn first opened in a log building and went through several iterations before a new building was constructed in 1984.

Seaton's grandfather purchased the restaurant in the 1940s and it has been in the family ever since.

The BBQ joint will stay open until Friday, March 8. The restaurant is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
