Arkansas guard Devo Davis commits to OSU

After four seasons at Arkansas, former guard Devo Davis announced that he will be transferring to OSU.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Former Arkansas guard Devo Davis has announced that he will transfer to Oklahoma State University.

Davis, a Jacksonville native, was with the Arkansas Razorbacks for four seasons.

Throughout his career at Arkansas, Davis averaged 8.4 points, four rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. This past season was the worst of his Arkansas career and he averaged 36.3% from the field and under six points per game.

The Jacksonville native also took two brief breaks away from the team for undisclosed reasons during his time at Arkansas,

However, Davis had some clutch moments in Razorback red. In 2021 which was his freshman year, he hit the game-winning shot over Oral Roberts to send the Hogs to the Elite Eight.

In 2023, Davis dropped 25 points against no.1 seed Kansas to send the Hogs to the Sweet 16.

Davis entered the transfer portal right after Arkansas lost to South Carolina in the SEC tournament, and right before Eric Musselman became the coach at Southern California. \

Davis will have one season of eligibility left to use in Stillwater.

Oklahoma State finished second to last in the Big 12 this past year. The Cowboys hired a new coach this year Steve Lutz, who came from Texas A&M Corpus-Christi.
