Arkansas senior guard Devo Davis enters transfer portal

Jacksonville native Devo Davis thanked his coaches, teammates, and Razorback fans as he announced on Wednesday that he will be entering the transfer portal.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas senior guard Devo Davis announced on Tuesday that he will now be entering into the transfer portal.

Davis is now one of several players to enter the transfer portal this month including Joseph Pinion, Keyon Menifield Jr., Denijay Harris, and Layden Blocker.

In his announcement posted on X, he thanked Razorback fans, his coaches, and teammates for their support during his time in Fayetteville.

"Through years of practice and hard work, my goal was always to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks. It was a dream come true to wear a Razorback jersey and represent my home state," Davis said.

Earlier this season, Davis "stepped away from the program," the university announced on January 27. University officials didn't explain why Davis stepped away from the program.

On February 5, Arkansas Basketball Head Coach Eric Musselman announced via his radio show that Devo Davis was rejoining the team.

The Jacksonville native appeared in several games this season and averaged 5.9 points and 3.4 rebounds for the struggling Razorbacks, who saw their season come to an end after losing to South Carolina on March 14.
