There's a new Hog in town!
The University of Arkansas announced Wednesday the addition of Tusk V to line of Arkansas Razorback mascots.
Tusk V, the son of current mascot Tusk IV, was born at the Stokes Family Farm in Dardanelle on April 19.
According to the school, the Russian boar resembles a "wild band of razorback hogs" described by head coach Hugo Bezdek in 1909. The school's mascot was changed from the Cardinals to the Razorbacks the next year.
Tusk V plans to take over mascot duties at the start of the 2019 Razorback football season. Tusk IV is scheduled retire that year as well.
