FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (THV11) - For the first time in program history the Arkansas Razorback softball program has advanced to the NCAA Super Regional round.
The Razorbacks defeated Wichita State 6-4 on Sunday behind another stellar performance from Freshman Mary Haff. Haff picked up her third victory in three days this time out of the bullpen. The Freshman tossed 4.2 IP giving up just two hits and striking out 7.
Arkansas trailed in this ballgame 4-3 in the 4th before Hannah McEwin's two run shot gave Arkansas a 5-4 lead. The Razorbacks added an insurance run in the 6th on a wild pitch before Haff shutdown the Shockers for the 6-4 win.
