FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (THV11) - Former Arkansas QB Austin Allen has signed a UDFA deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after not hearing his named called during the 2018 NFL Draft.
Allen suffered from an injury plagued 2018 season where he played in just 8 games passing for 1,427 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Fayetteville native said following his pro day he is fully heathy for the first time in a long time.
Allen's 2017 campaign much more impressive with 3,430 yards and 25 touchdowns. He is the second Allen to join the NFL. His brother and former Razorback Brandon Allen is currently with the Los Angeles Rams.
