OMAHA, Neb. (KTHV) – The outcome of Arkansas Razorbacks’ matchup against Oregon State Beavers in the 2018 College World Series Thursday night in Omaha was certainly not what Hog fans were anticipating, but as THV11’s Hayden Balgavy put it, “The Arkansas Razorbacks went to the National Championship. It doesn’t get any better than that.”
The runners-up in the NCAA National Championship had a mighty season and THV11 was there from the start. It was quite the ride, following the Diamond Hogs.
Notably so, anchors Rob Evans and Hayden Balgavy, along with a THV11 crew, were staked out in Omaha for more than two weeks. They were live in nearly every newscast on THV11, sharing updates from fans, players, and everything in between. They even hosted a 30-minute special from outside TD Ameritrade Stadium.
