RISON, Ark. (KTHV) - Our 40 teams preview rolls on this week with one of the best programs in the state.
Rison has averaged eight wins a season over the past five years in the 2A classification. The Wildcats lost one regular season game in 20-14 before falling to Hazen in the quarterfinals.
That one loss of course was to the state champs; Junction City. The Dragons travel to Rison week two of the season and the Wildcats have revenge on their minds.
"There's the old saying you either fight or you fly. Fight or flight and I think we've got some fighters and I hope so we'll find out week two" says head coach Clay Totty.
"We're anxious to compete against the best".
