Mark's career-high 34 points not enough to push No. 20 Arkansas past No. 14 North Carolina

The Razorbacks couldn't keep up with the Tar Heels, falling 87-72 in the third-place game at the Battle 4 Atlantis.

THE BAHAMAS, — For the second day in a row, The Arkansas Razorback Basketball team has fallen in Atlantis this time to the North Carolina Tarheels. 

After a slow start for the Hogs, they started to get it going late in the first half. Down by 10 early, they climbed all the way back to lead after halftime 38-35. 

But that was all the Hogs had in them as the second half was all Tarheels outscoring the Hogs 52-34 in the second half where Arkansas would fall 87-72.

Tramon Mark led the way for Arkansas with 34 points and 5 rebounds. The next leading scorer was Layden Blocker with 11 points.

The Hogs will now head home for a battle with the Tarheels biggest rival, The Duke Blue Devils Wednesday at 8:15 on ESPN.
