First look at the Arkansas Razorbacks in EA Sports College Football 25

The highly anticipated EA Sports College Football 25 video game reveal trailer is here, and it gives Hog fans a sneak peek of the team and stadium!

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. โ€” College football fans were buzzing Friday morning as the reveal trailer for the highly anticipated EA Sports College Football 25 video game was released!

The 1:56 video showcased many of college football's storied traditions and even gave fans a glimpse of what the Arkansas Razorbacks will look like inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

EA Sports College Football 25 is the first officially licensed college football video game to be released in 11 years. It will feature all 134 FBS programs, commentary by ESPN's Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit and the daunting transfer portal.

While the trailer didn't reveal any gameplay, EA Sports released a blog highlighting what people can expect when they actually log into the game.

One of the most significant additions is the ability for college football athletes to opt into an NIL initiative, which permits EA Sports to use their likeness. Every student-athlete who opts in will earn a $600 NIL check, while several high-profile athletes have reported landing more lucrative deals to help further promote the video game.

According to EA Sports, well over 100,000 college football players have signed on to its initiative, so most rosters should be accurately represented when the game is released.

"For the first time ever, athletes like Quinn Ewers, Donovan Edwards, and Travis Hunter are in the game thanks to a groundbreaking NIL deal in college sports," EA Sports said in its first gameplay blog. "Saturday will never be the same as you immerse yourself in the iconic atmospheres of college football and etch your own college legacy."

Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green, offensive lineman Fernando Carmona (left) and running back Rashod Dubinion (right) were all featured in the trailer dawning Arkansas's cardinal red uniforms on the sunny turf at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The trailer confirmed that teams would have authentic walkout traditions, live mascots and rivalry trophy presentations, all of which contribute to the iconic atmosphere of college football. EA Sports College Football 25 will also offer a handful of game modes, allowing players to either take control of a college football program, live the life of a student-athlete, or build a dream team of college football stars and legends.

EA Sports College Football 25 will be released on July 19, 2024, and will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The standard edition will cost $69.99, while the deluxe edition ($99.99) and MVP bundle ($149.99) are more expensive because they include bonus game content.
