PINE BLUFF, Ark. — The head baseball coach for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) announced this week that he'll be stepping away from the program after spending over a decade with the program.
Head coach Carlos James made the announcement online on Tuesday, thanking the UAPB for his time there.
"Thank you UAPB for the last 14 seasons, my time has come to an end here. I will release a statement later .. Go Lions," James said on X.
With James now out as UAPB coach, there's currently no word on who could potentially replace the coach who spent 14 years at the university.
At the time of his departure, the UAPB baseball finished with a record of 15-34 for the 2024 season.
