The spill caused heavy traffic on I-40 Saturday morning and Hazmat is still working to contain the situation.

BRINKLEY, Ark. — According to the Brinkley Fire Department, an overturned truck caused a traffic backup Saturday morning on I-40, west of the Brinkley exit.

Officials say the truck that overturned was loaded with calcium nitrate, a compound that absorbs moisture from the air and is commonly found as a tetrahydrate.
