LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The 2019 Little Rock Marathon is set to begin Saturday, March 2, finishing with the final race on Sunday, March 3.
In addition to the road closures along the course during races, there will also be closures occurring in the downtown area during the marathon.
Broadway Bridge SB Exit to Cantrell
- Saturday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday: 5 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Markham - Between Center & Cumberland
- Saturday, Sunday: 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
LaHarpe Blvd. - Between State & Cumberland
- Friday, 9 a.m. to Sunday, 9 p.m.
Main St. - Between 2nd & Markham
- Saturday, Sunday: 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cumberland NB at Rock
- Saturday, Sunday: 4 a.m. to 9 a.m.
2 Street at Rock
- Saturday, Sunday: 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
2nd Street off-ramp from I-30
- Saturday, Sunday: 4 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Closures will begin at 4 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday along the entire course prior to the race start.
All road closures will be final at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 and at 6 a.m. on Sunday, March 3. Races will begin on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Races begin on Sunday at 6 a.m.
Streets will reopen on a rolling basis, and is at the discretion of the Little Rock Police Department.
All drivers are encouraged to adjust travel time and plan alternate routes within and around the race course.
