SALINE COUNTY, Ark. — Starting on Monday night, the Highway 70 ramp to I-30 East in Saline County will be closed overnight so that ARDOT crews can continue their work to widen I-30 to six lanes.
The ramp will be closed beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20 through 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21 so that pavement repairs can be made.
According to ARDOT, drivers will need to follow the signed detours:
- Take the ramp to I-30 west
- West on I-30 to Exit 106 (Old Military Road)
- Take overpass toward Highway 67
- East on Highway 67 to return to I-30 east
Drivers are advised to exercise caution while in the work zone and to look out for slower traffic speeds. Traffic in the construction zone will be controlled with barricades, signs, and construction barrels.
