How could the heat impact me?

So it is important to be aware of your surroundings and stay indoors if possible.

What do I need to stay safe from the heat?

People are encouraged to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

The best things to do during this time are to limit time spent outdoors, stay hydrated, and remember to wear light clothing when heading outside.

If you are someone who works outside, remember to take frequent breaks and drink more fluids than you normally would.
