National Weather Service confirms 6 tornadoes in Arkansas from Beryl

The National Weather Service confirmed multiple tornadoes hit Arkansas as the remnants of Tropical Storm Beryl blew through the state.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed late Tuesday night that Arkansas experienced six tornadoes as Tropical Storm Beryl blew through the state, knocking down trees and flooding roads.

According to the NWS, most tornadoes were ruled an EF-1 or lower with winds from 65 to 110 miles per hour. Additionally, none traveled more than six miles.

Two confirmed tornadoes occurred in Dallas County, two in Jefferson County, one in White County and one in Ouachita County into Nevada County.
