FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — It's another sunny and chilly day across western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma behind Monday's cold front. Winds are much lighter today, though a light breeze will make it feel a little cooler. A brief warm up is on the way for Wednesday, but it will be short-lived thanks to another cold front moving in.

Highs Wednesday will be around 10 degrees warmer than today. The cold front will roll through Wednesday night setting us up for a return to colder weather Thursday and Friday. We have a few chances for a little wet weather this week. The first chance comes, mainly for areas south of I-40 Wednesday as an area of deeper moisture nudges in. The further south you go towards the Ouachita's the better the chance for a light shower.
Here's a look at current radar across Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley.
The next chance will come as we head into the weekend. Scattered showers are expected to increase Sunday afternoon and evening. The River Valley looks to be in better position for higher coverage. Continue to check back for updates.
