DARDANELLE, Ark. — According to the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management, a levee in Holla Bend National Wildlife Refuge has breached earlier this Friday morning, May 31.
On Thursday, May 30, Yell County Emergency Management sent out and alert to people living near the area because the levee on Highway 155 was leaking.
ADEM officials say the water will take about 15 hours before it reaches Dardanelle.
We'll have more on this story as it continues to develop. The department also told us there is no immediate danger right now.
