8 p.m. UPDATE - According to Entergy Arkansas, after strong storms today, we're down to 2400 customer outages from a peak of nearly 13,000. Unfortunately, some customers will not be restored until Sunday. Those customers have been notified.
Strong winds and heavy rain has caused several power outages in central Arkansas, including Little Rock and Hot Springs.
As of 11 a.m., Entergy is reporting over 2,334 people out of power in the Little Rock, North Little Rock area.
Areas surrounding Lake Ouachita are seeing over 2,000 people without power.
Tornado warnings have been active around the metro since 9:30 a.m. As of 11:45 a.m., no tornado warnings are active.
The National Weather Service confirmed one tornado in Slovak, Arkansas.
