DALLAS COUNTY, Ark. — On Monday night, the National Weather Service (NWS) verified that a confirmed tornado moved through the southern portion of Arkansas.
During an active night of weather for Arkansas, the NWS confirmed that there was a tornado in Dallas County.
Reports show that the tornado did cause some damage. There hasn't been any information released regarding possible injuries or the extent of the damage.
As Beryl made its way through Arkansas, it created the conditions for tornado warnings to pop up throughout the state.
Due to those factors, THV11 meteorologists declared a Weather Impact Alert for Monday evening into Tuesday as Tropical Storm Beryl brought along heavy rain to parts of Arkansas.
