Some Arkansas counties faced tornado warnings as Beryl moves in

Here's the latest on severe weather threats in Arkansas as the state deals with the impacts of Tropical Storm Beryl.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The THV11 meteorologists declared a Weather Impact Alert for Monday evening into Tuesday as Tropical Storm Beryl is expected to bring heavy rain to parts of Arkansas.

Here's what you need to know about severe storms that are moving through the southern region of Arkansas and other parts of the state on Monday. 

1:40 a.m.

  • Tornado warning for Woodruff County has now expired

1:25 a.m.

  • Tornado warning issued for Woodruff County

1:15 a.m.

  • Tornado warning for White County has now been canceled

1:10 a.m.

  • Tornado warning has been issued for White County

12:15 a.m.

  • Tornado warning for Lonoke County has expired

12:05 a.m.

  • Tornado warning remains in effect for Lonoke County

11:45 p.m. 

  • Tornado warning issued for Lonoke County and part of Prairie County until 12:15 p.m.

11:35 p.m.

  • Tornado warning canceled for Jefferson County and Lonoke County

11:20 p.m.

  • Tornado warning issued for northern Jefferson County into Lonoke County
  • Tornado warning continued for Jefferson County and Lonoke County

11:15 p.m.

  • Tornado warning canceled for Jefferson County
  • No active warnings currently issued

11:05 p.m.

  • A radar-confirmed tornado has been spotted in Jefferson County

10:50 p.m.

  • Flash flood warning for Grant, Jefferson, Pulaski, and Saline County

10:35 p.m. 

  • Tornado warning issued for Jefferson County
  • Possible tornado spotted on radar near Highway 79 and Highway 54 in Jefferson County

10:25 p.m.

  • No active tornado warnings in Arkansas at this time. Severe thunderstorm warnings for Grant and Saline County have been canceled.
  • Reports of a confirmed tornado hitting Sparkman, a small Arkansas town, on Monday night.  

10:15 p.m.

  • Grant and Hot Spring County tornado warnings have been allowed to expire

10:00 p.m.

Tornado warnings include parts of Grant County, Hot Spring County, Dallas County, Arkansas County, and Prairie County.

9:40 p.m.

  • There has been a Doppler radar-indicated tornado in the state near Willow and Princeton

9:30 p.m.

  • There are no active tornado warnings in our viewing area at this time

9:15 p.m.

  • Tornado warning canceled for Garland County
  • Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Clark County, Hot Spring County, Dallas County

9:05 p.m.

  • The only tornado warning in the state of Arkansas currently is in Garland County

8:55 p.m.

  • Tornado warnings are in effect for Clark and Garland County. Also for a small portion of Saline County.

8:35 p.m.

  • Rotation spotted near Highway 70 and Highway 5 headed toward Highway 7
  • People on the eastern side of Hot Springs need to get to their safe space now
  • Tornado warning issued for Clark County

8:00 p.m. 

  • Tornado warning issued for eastern portions of Garland County
  • Band of heavy thunderstorms has potential rotation and is beginning to move into south & central Arkansas expected by 10 pm.

7:45 p.m. 

  • Tornado warning remains in effect for Hot Spring County until 8:15 p.m.
  • Tornado warning issued for Ouachita County and Nevada County

7:30 p.m. 

  • Tornado warning issued for Dallas County
  • Cell pushing from Dallas County over into Hot Spring County
  • Tornado watch remains in effect for much of Central Arkansas until midnight

6:40 p.m. 

  • Cell being watched in Dallas County that could produce severe thunderstorms.
  • Tornado warning issued in Columbia County and Lafeyette County 

6:10 p.m. 

  • Tornado warning issued for Ouachita, Calhoun, Sevier, Lafeyette, and Miller County.
  • Potentials for flash flooding possible throughout Monday night. 
  • Tornado warning issued for a portion of Dallas County and Clark County 
  • Tornado warning issued for Columbia County and Lafayette County
  • Cell heading towards Hope has expired

5:50 p.m.

  • Four tornado warned storms in Arkansas: Ouachita, Calhoun, Sevier, Layfayette, and Miller County.
  • Severe storms near Camden with potential to produce tornado
  • Storm moving through east Camden, cell could head towards Hope
  • A storm cell is moving towards Ouachita County
