North Little Rock police search for 22-year-old wanted for capital murder

The North Little Rock Police Department is searching for a 22-year-old armed and dangerous man for his involvement in a deadly shooting.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — As part of their investigation into a homicide that happened back in August, the North Little Rock Police Department is currently searching for a 22-year-old murder suspect.

According to reports, just after 3:00 a.m. on August 29, officers were called to the 100 block of Riverfront Park Drive with reports that someone had been shot.

When they arrived, officers located two individuals suffering from at least one gunshot wound. One victim, an adult male, later identified as 31-year-old Jordan Brown of Jacksonville, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The second victim, an adult female, was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Since then, police have arrested 20-year-old James Green of Jacksonville on a capital murder charge for his involvement in this incident. He is being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Center.

However, authorities are also still looking for an additional suspect in this deadly shooting. 

22-year-old Akashdeep Singh (pictured below) is wanted for capital murder and criminal attempt to commit murder.  A monetary reward is now being offered for information which leads to his arrest.
