Police car crashes en route to shooting at Vantage Point Apartments in Little Rock

The police car was responding to a report of a suspect shooting a gun at Vantage Point Apartments when it ran through a red light with their sirens on and crashed.

According to Little Rock police, the shooting occurred at Vantage Point Apartments in Little Rock.

The department responded to a call about a person running through the apartment complex shooting a gun.

A Little Rock police car was responding to the call, and ran a red light with the sirens on and crashed into a pole after colliding with a car near I-630.

Upon arrival, officers did find a victim with gunshot wounds. The current condition of the victim is unknown and police are still on scene.

According to Little Rock police, it appears two individuals were shooting at each other. One of the suspects was shot multiple times and transported to a local hospital. Detectives are still interviewing witnesses and involved individuals.
