WYNNE, Arkansas — According to Wynne Public Schools, on Tuesday morning, Feb. 25, a gun was discovered in the backpack of an 8th grade student at Wynne Junior High School.
Officials say the report of a gun came from students on campus and the junior high administration were able to recover the gun before school began.
The building was not placed on lockdown and the school resource officer and the Wynne Police took the student into custody.
