Where to watch 4th of July fireworks in central Arkansas

Central Arkansas is ready to celebrate the Fourth of July with a ton of different activities filled with family fun and of course fireworks! Here's a list of events.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansans are getting ready to celebrate the Fourth of July with incredible fireworks displays, parades, and more across the state— and there are plenty of different events to choose from!

Little Rock

4th of July Community Fireworks Display

When: Sunday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Where: Life Line Baptist Church at 7601 Baseline Road

What: Enjoy food trucks, fireworks, and fellowship— just bring your lawn chair.

Pops on the River

When: Thursday, July 4 at 9:15 p.m.

Where: River Market at 400 President Clinton Ave.

What: This annual festival is returning for its 40th year for a night of family fun, food, and fireworks in downtown Little Rock's River Market.

Firecracker Fast 5K

When: Thursday, July 4 at 7:30 a.m. 

Where: Kavanaugh Boulevard

What: Run through the heart of Little Rock along scenic Kavanaugh Boulevard, past the Little Rock Zoo and War Memorial Stadium.

Let Freedom Soar

When: Thursday, July 4 – Sunday, July 7 

Where: Little Rock Zoo at 1 Zoo Drive

What: Meet your favorite animals, engage in keeper chats, explore the Dragon Kingdom, and more!

North Little Rock

July 4th at DSP

When: Thursday, July 4 at 7 p.m

Where: Dickey-Stephens Park at 400 W Broadway St.

What: Watch the downtown fireworks, play catch on the field, and enjoy some fun with Otey's Splash Pad and train rides. Admission is free, participants must bring a glove to be allowed on the field, but baseballs will be provided.

Maumelle

Maumelle 4th Fest

When: Thursday, July 4 from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Where: Lake Willastein Park at 309 Lake Willastein Drive

What: The theme this year is “Baby You’re a Firework”. The fun begins with a lively parade starting at Millwood Circle and Club Manor Dr. followed by a spectacular firework display.

Benton

Red, White, & Boom Celebration

When: Wednesday, July 3 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where:  River Center parking lot behind Holland Chapel Church at 15523 I-30

What: There will be free hot dogs, food trucks, jump zones for the kids, a Baggo tournament, and fireworks after dark.

Conway

Freedom Fest

When: Wednesday, July 3 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Beaverfork Lake Park at 59 Kinley Dr.

What: Enjoy free live music, food trucks, fun, and fireworks after dark.

Hot Springs

Independence Day Fireworks Festival

When: Thursday, July 4 at dark

Where: Highway 7 South Bridge

What: Fireworks will be shot from the middle of Lake Hamilton for visitors to watch on the east side of Highway 7 at the first Highway 7 bridge opposite the Doubletree Hot Springs. In case of rain, the fireworks will be rescheduled for Friday evening, July 5.

Sherwood

Balcony Blast Fundraiser

When: Wednesday, July 3 at 6 p.m.

Where: The Greens at North Hills Event Center at 400 Hwy 107

What: Enjoy food, beer and wine, and balcony viewing for $30 per person & $15 for children 10 and under. Tickets can be purchased online. All proceeds will benefit outreach programs through the Community-Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (COPPS) division of the Sherwood Police Department.

Fireworks and Food Trucks 

When: Wednesday, July 3 at 6 p.m.

Where: The Greens at North Hills Golf Course at 400 Hwy 107

What: Enjoy food, fireworks, and fun at this event that's free and open to the public. Bring your chairs, blankets, games, and appetites!

Jacksonville

Big Bang Fireworks Show

When: Thursday, July 4 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: 2694 Main St.

What: Bring a chair or blanket for a fireworks show over wide-open skies. The show is free, fun for the whole family, and handicap accessible.

Searcy

United We Stand

When: Thursday, July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Searcy Event Center at 1300 Higginson St.

What: Enjoy live music, food trucks, a special fun zone, and a fireworks display to end the night.

Jusdonia

Jusdonia Summer Blast

When: Thursday, July 4 from 8:00 a.m. till dark

What: Fishing, watermelon eating contests, magic shows, fireworks and more
