JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — The Jacksonville Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect connected to a shooting that injured an 18-year-old man on Cherry Street earlier this month.
On Sunday, 28-year-old Malike Roy turned himself over to authorities for his involvement in that same shooting. He is being charged with criminal attempt to commit capital murder, terroristic act, first-degree battery and criminal mischief.
According to police, the 18-year-old man who was injured received treatment at the hospital and is expected to recover.
