Josh Cohen decommits from Arkansas, follows Musselman to USC

"I believe in Eric Musselman. Let's work," Cohen said on social media after Musselman became USC's next head coach.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Josh Cohen's time at Arkansas was short-lived—five days, to be exact.

The former UMass forward announced on March 30 that he was transferring to the Razorbacks, but then flipped his commitment when USC announced Eric Musselman as its next head men's basketball coach.

Now, Cohen, 6-10 and 220 pounds, will join Musselman in Southern California.

With the departures of Cohen and Khalif Battle, who entered the transfer portal Thursday, the Razorbacks have only two returning players (Tramon Mark, Trevon Brazile) and two high school commits (Jalen Shelley, Isaiah Elohim) on their roster.

Cohen played one season at UMass and averaged a team-leading 15.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.7 assists while starting all 30 games this past season to earn All-Atantic 10 first-team honors. Additionally, he averaged 28.5 minutes per game and shot 54.4% from the field, including 11 of 32 (34.4%) behind the three-point line.
