Little Rock Parkview's Robinson, Elston make college commitments

Four-star safety Omarion Robinson committed to Oklahoma over Arkansas, while three-star running back Monterrio Elston pledged to join Kansas State's 2025 class.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Two Little Rock Parkview football players from the 2025 class announced their college intentions on Saturday at the high school gymnasium.

Four-star safety Omarion Robinson committed to Oklahoma over Arkansas, LSU and Oregon, while three-star running back Monterrio Elston picked Kansas State over Arkansas and Missouri.

"Arkansas is [my] home state," Robinson said. "There's no love lost toward them, but I wanted to take another route... and make an impact and a name for myself."

Robinson, 6-0 and 185 pounds, played in five last season, racking up 170 total yards and two touchdowns as a two-way player in the Patriots' run to a second consecutive Class 5A state title.

On3Sports ranks Robinson as the second-best player in Arkansas and No. 30 nationally for his position in the 2025 class.

Elston, 5-8 and 170 pounds, pledged to join Kansas State over two SEC schools—Arkansas and Missouri.

The shifty running back saw action in six games during the 2023-24 campaign and registered 440 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 25 carries. Elston was also active in the passing game, with 23 catches for 212 yards and one touchdown.

He currently ranks as the No. 13 overall recruit in Arkansas and the No. 103 running back in the nation by On3Sports.
